Re: he 111 experts?

I'm currently missing all 3, but the first two would appear to have been H-5s given all the other WNr. around them.

Hey Jim

He 111 H-5 / 3861 1G + ?H belonged to 1./KG 27 and was damaged on 09. Apr. 1941 (30%) by anti-aircraft-guns on ships and made later an emergency landing. Location was PQ 5176 (I don't know the correct location). Two crew-members was injured.

Re: he 111 experts?

I have this He 111 H-5 as WNr. 3681 not as 3861 in the BA loss reports. Damage was 30% and report date is the 09 Apr 41. Was there a leter correction to this?

Reagards,

Norbert

Re: he 111 experts?

My data agrees with Norbert's. I also have no note that there was a WNr. conflict or update, something I normally do.

Re: he 111 experts?

Hi,

Without going in to much detail I have various original papers RLM/Heinkel relating to unit deliveries from the factory. Whilst by no means complete or error free they are usually pretty useful. On these three aircraft I have no other detail at present, sorry!

Regards,

David

Re: he 111 experts?

Hi David,
Im currently updating my files on Heinkel 111's of KG27, i wondered if you have any information regarding allocations of He 111P subtype's.
It would appear from their earlier losses, that their initial batches were in the W.Nr 13 to 1400's and also a lot from the W.Nr 2600's
Have you any info regarding allocations, or delivery times to this unit?
Any information would be really appreciated.
Best regs,
Steve.
