As the Amazon blurb says, "Such a detailed study on this topic has not appeared before - and the author's work is unlikely to be superseded." That's true. This is the first detailed study of that operation in English that I'm aware of.

The hardback edition was published several years ago. So it's not a new book as such.

The Amazon blurb is probably the same one they used "several years ago" when the hardback edition was published.

I think it would be appropriate for publishers to indicate a reprint or change of format, i.e. from hardback to paperback.

Yes it would. However, the following information can be found on Helion's own website: https://www.helion.co.uk/military-hi...41d54fe964d19e

Jukka,

A lot of people use Amazon and don't bother with publisher sites.

I have the 2019 hardback edition. Very good book, indeed; however, no one should ever state something like "the author's work is unlikely to be superseded."
