He111 7./KG27 lost 19 August 1940

Hi guys

Although mentioned previously, it would seem that this aircraft, IG+MT, flown by Oblt Siegel, came down 300km north of San Sebastion, endeavouring to reach its airfield at Rennes. Although Chris Goss says it was not the aircraft attacked by 66 Squadron following an attack on RAF Honington, other sources state otherwise.

Apologies for asking the same question, but would appreciate clarity.

Cheers
Brian
