Station III./JG3 - 21 feb 1944

According to some web-sources III./JG3 was stationed on Hannover (Langenhagen) on 21 february 1944. Who can confirm this, source?

III./JG 3
18/19 Feb 44: temporary transfer to Leipheim due to snow on the airfield at Bad Wörishofen. Remained at Leipheim until 12 Apr 44 when it returned to Bad Wörishofen.

Good, than now the challenge: on 21 feb 1944 Lt. Weik from 10./JG3 shot down B-17F 42-3073 Lightning Strikes - in the area of Gütersloh.
From Tony Woods Claims List:

21.02.44 Ltn. Hans Weik: 15 10./JG 3 B-1 7 £ Raum Holzminden: 6.000 m. 1 4 . 3 8 Film C. 2025/I VNE: ASM

To me it seems unlikely that he was stationed at Leipheim...

Re: Station III./JG3 - 21 feb 1944

Cees - you asked for III. Gruppe, but now you say 10. Staffel. Unless you know something I don't, 10. Staffel belonged to IV./JG 3.

IV. Gruppe/JG 3 transferred to Venlo on 28 Jan 44 for operations under 3. Jagddivision. It made a tactical transfer to Volkel on 12 Feb 44 but returned to Venlo on 19 Feb 44. On 26 Feb 44 it moved from Venlo to Salzwedel.

You can find all this in Dr. Jochen Prien's multi-volume history of JG 3.
