Loss I guess someone can add to here...
Hi, guys!
I guess the possibility that members of this board can add details with regards to the following loss is quite high: http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=121879 Regards, Andreas B |

Re: Loss I guess someone can add to here...
Hello to all,
according to the book of Mr. Spoden "Ich war Nachtjäger in Görings Luftwaffe" code of the plane was C9+KP. Bordfunker was Uffz. Kiel, who landed with his parachute on top of a house in Berlin, the Bordschütze Uffz. Ballweg was found dead in the crashed plane. In the book is a Gefechtsbericht about this incidence, where Mr. Spoden had a narrow escape as he got stuck at the tail of the plane when he had bailed out and got free only 1000 m above ground. Best wishes Robert Last edited by robert_schulte; 27th October 2007 at 13:29. Reason: additional info |

Hehe!
Just the discussion I wanted to see! Is it possible to conclude? Is the Gefechtsbericht give in facsimile or in text in the book? Regards, Andreas B |

the book has both the facsimile and the reprinted text, however, I just saw that the facsimile gives the code as Ca+KP (with a small a!) and the transcript C9+KP, I guess the first one is a typo as this would be a Ju 86. In the Gefechtbericht there is nothing about the fate of his crew, this is from the further text. Theo Boiten in his book "Nachtjagd" gives the same data as Mr. Spoden. Regards Robert |
