Lt-Col Vladimir Popov 608-BAP

Hi guys

Seeking details surrounding the death of Lt-Col Vladimir Popov, CO of 608-BAP, following is aircraft (a Pe-2) being shot down in May 1942. Apparently he committed suicide rather than be captured.

Cheers
Brian
