Re: Sgt Wesley Snoddon 77 Sqn?

Brian,

Do confirm that have tried to find his name as Captain of Aircraft, from July 1940 up to February 1941 and got no joy. Will have a more careful look for his name as 2nd pilot...do you have a date for the friendly fire accident?

Adriano

Hi Adriano

No date, but apparently between November 1940 and early 1941. The Whitley was reportedly shot down by a Blenheim fighter.

Cheers

Re: Sgt Wesley Snoddon 77 Sqn?

I thought it was 5 August 1940 - but my mistake!

Has anyone 248 Squadron ORB for late 1940/early 1941? There may be a lead!

Cheers
Brian

Re: Sgt Wesley Snoddon 77 Sqn?

Hi guys

It seems that Sgt Wesley Snoddon's Whitley was the victim of a Blenheim of 248 Squadron flown by Plt Off Ronnie Wright.

Does that help in identifying the incident?

Cheers
Brian
