More to the point, which bit of "private dispute = private message" do people not understand? Enough, everyone.

Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

OK, this has gone far enough. I do not want to lock this thread, but, I will, and remove some uncivil postings unless this "he said, I said" stops. I would hate to ban someone, but Nick and I have done so before and will do it again.

Take ALL accusations, and personal arguments off this Board into whatever domain you wish. TOCH is not a democracy or flame war site where you can post whatever you want.

If there are genuine issues about illegal photo/copyright postings on this board, please let me or Nick know, BACKED by evidence, and we will remove them.

Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

Hi there Gang,

i just chanced on two incredibly sharp and totally unknown pics of Bf 109 K-4's shot during the closing days by Al Mozell, Combat photographer with the 71 Infantry Division. No location is given.

http://pmozell.photoshelter.com/gall...000ADE8.YQCVWE

This could be W.Nr. 335 069. Location could be Amberg-Schafhof, but also Cham or Bodenwöhr...

http://pmozell.photoshelter.com/gall...000xqCfBSKzB0Y

W.Nr. 334 199, location unknown (Nuremberg ?)

Any further informations most welcome!

Cheers
Marc

Hello Marc,

Nice find. Thank you very much.

Did you notice the short tail wheel leg on 33X069?

Hi there Steve,

You're most welcome. And you wouldn't believe me: I missed it out, so intent was I at verifying the W.Nr. on the rudder ;-)

Really exceptionally clear shots.

Cheers
Marc
