11/05/1940: John McKenzie 54°Sq

Hi

What is the reason for the loss of John McKenzie (Sq 54) that day

One of my sources (Twelwe days in may) says:shot down by 5/JG 27,north-west of Rotterdam....another says:disappeared north of Margate.

shot down by Schaffer (5/JG27)? or I/JG1? or simply disappeared?

Thanks

Michel
