Information concerning the loss no loss of Max Hiegelsberger- murdered October 1942

Hi,

Obtained an unusual prayer card of a Max Hiegelsberger who died in Russian captivity in October 1942.

On the prayer card he is d scribed as a pilot and died in Karaganda, Mittelasien?

Thought someone could tell me if he was part of a crew shot down and any details leading to his death.
