Luftwaffe activity around Hamburg early 1940
Hello,
What kind of war diaries from Luftwaffe units has survived from the Hamburg area for march 1940? I'm looking for something that cover interceptions of planes, attacks and airfields for this month, i.e Luftlagemeldungen and other similar reports. You could try Akte 89. Lageberichte West des Luftwaffen-Führungsstabes (1c) at: https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/...de/grid/zoom/1
That file covers 1 March to 30 April and the usual format of these reports includes a section on events over the Reich territory.
