Flt Lt R.F. Digger Aitken & Walrus 1940
Hi guys
Five years ago or so, I requested information on the activities of Digger Aitken who flew a Walrus on air-sea rescue duties during 1940. Col kindly provided some background then, but I wonder if anything has been written about the actual rescues in which he participated? He apparently rescued some 35 RAF and Luftwaffe aircrew - but when and where and who? Is anyone able to furnish such information, please? And where can I find a photograph? Stay safe Brian |

Hi Col
Nothing new, then? I would of thought that someone had written about him in some detail, either here or in New Zealand. Come on, researcher/writers in New Zealand, where is his story? Stay safe Brian |
