do you know more details about this fatal crash: 17.2.1945 I/Erg.KG(J) He 111H-10 5301 cr. close München pilot Uffz. Raubaum Erhard *12.11.1922 Wedringen, +München-Waldfriedhof Reihe 60 Grab 20 Uffz. Gabriel Hans *19.2.1922 Frankfurt a/M +München-Waldfriedhof Reihe 60 Grab 19 Uffz. Häring Julius, *9.2.1917 Stuttgart +München-Waldfriedhof Reihe 60 Grab 18 Uffz. Jenerwein Sebastian Most of all, I´m looking for where the plane crashed and what was the purpose of the flight? Thanks, Jan |

Out of interest, I just looked on Google Earth and the street name comes up Pöppelstraße with an "l". There's a modern block of flats there now.

If I understand well, the plane crashed directly in city between the houses? and my error, the plane belonged to IV./Erg.KG 1, not Erg.KG(J) |

Hello Jan,
according to the Gen.Qu. loss return 17 March 1945 item 60 the plane belonged to the I./Erg.KG (J), not IV./Erg.KG 1. Regards Leo |
