Shot down by Adjt Valentin, Capt Papin, and Sgt Lamblin of GC II/7 during reconnaissance of the railway between Vitry-le-François and Épinal and believed exploded in woods at La Chaume, Haut du Them, 5.45 p.m. FF Oberfw Heinz Mirau and BF Obergefr Otto Debus both missing, BO Fw Otto Keck believed baled out but killed. Aircraft 100% write-off.

Re: 1(F)/123, 10.06.1940.

Peter, I have just found the following:
Funker? Otto Debus, born 08.01.1913, died 10.06.1940. Died at Le Thillot (which is about 4 Km north-east of Le Haut-du-Them) Buried in Andilly Cemetery, 40-18-105.
No grave for: Fw. Otto Keck or Oberfw. Heinz Mirau.
Perhaps it was Otto Debus who bailed out and was killed?
