Luftwaffe photo reconnaissance UK1940

Luftwaffe photo reconnaissance records / UK -1940

Can someone please confirm how to go about resourcing such material - given that NASM say they cannot help with such records [they haven't got ] ....?
What I assumed to be the central US Military Archive ??

I know for a fact they have the only Library left of this kind - anywhere and it is not in the UK !
[RAF Brampton destroyed theirs in early 1980's]
