Information on Uffz. Georg Hagler - lost over Norwich May 1943?
Hi,
Could anyone provide details concerning the loss of Uffz. Georg Hagler. He was lost on a mission to England on 5th May 1943. Could he have been involved in the mission to Norwich. Several aircraft were lost on their way home. I believe they were intercepted by Mosquitos. Is there any information on the rest of his crew? Have looked in The Blitz - Then and Now andno specific information. Thanks Rick |

Just for curiosity...is there a WX (weather) report of the area in question around the time of the crash?
Another doubt of mine: Most of WW2 machines did had only one "Artificial Horizon". Any radio report emitted by the crew informing an engine failure or instrument failure? A. |
