Midair collision B17 306BG 369Sq 11Jan 1944
On 11 January 1944 a B17 crashes in the village of Epe, Holland. The B17 was from the 306 BG, 369Sq. ser.nr 43-31451.
I know that the bomber had a midair collision with a German fighter and the right wing was badly damaged. After the MAC the B17 was attacked by FW-190's. I am searching for more details of this event( What happened with the german fighter and who claimed this aircraft). Gerrit Kamphuis |
