Captured Spitfires Kos Island Oct 1943 Operation Eisbär
Does anyone have any details (f.e. serials) and the fates of six Spitfires Mk.VC captured intact by Germans in start of October 1943 on the Aegean Island Kos during Operation Eisbär. Spitfires belonged from No 7 Sqdn SAAF and No 74 Sqdn RAF.
