Who attacked Strigovo Imenin and Kobrin airfields on 22.6.41
The 123rd IAP was based on three airfields north of Kobrin on 22.6.41. I./SKG 210 raided Imenin at 13:55, and JG 51 attacked also. The bulk of the VVS losses were on Imenin. But little is said of the attacks on Strigovo and Kobrin proper (see map) their timing and who was involved. There were at least 16 I-153 who were likely on these two fields...but who destroyed them?

Are there any accounts that specifically name Strigovo or Kobrin as the targets?

Re: Who attacked Strigovo Imenin and Kobrin airfields on 22.6.41
There were: Me 109 Fs of I & IV/JG 51; I, Stab /JG 53 and Me 110s of I/SKG 210.
All were "Brześć or Kobryń" for German pilots. Such Polish, Russian name as Imienin, Strzygowo were total abstraction for them, and spelling too, you demand too much from German in VI 1941. See my book: "Powietrzny pogrom ZSRR. 22 czerwca 1941", Bellona, Warsaw, 2014, pp.180-194. As so far the most has been written about these comabts. And the comabr story rom 22.06.41 for whole 10. SAD pp.172-207. All in Polish. regards, mw
