Walter Schuck visits USA

From 12th till 27th of May JG 5 and JG 7 fighter ace Walter Schuck meets friends, old bold pilots and war historians in Vista, Orange County and Chino/CA.

Besides his, from art galleries as Virginia Bader urgently awaited signatures under Robert Bailey's new art work "Escort Fury", he is on promotion tour for his forthcoming biography written by Christer Bergström.

One of the highlights during the Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino will be the meeting between him and his former defeater, the Mustang pilot Joseph "Joe" A. Peterburs.

Cheers,
Horst

Re: Walter Schuck visits USA

Many will recall that Ms. Bader had an aviation art gallery (her first in the US?) in northern Virginia back in the 1980s. The WW2 pilot symposiums/visits she held at that time (both at the gallery and in deticated, larger forums) were among the best. Many notable British, German and American aces were involved; most have since passed on. It's sad she has "abandoned" the east. There are many enthusiats there, perhaps even more than out west and certainly no less.

Ah, the good old days!
