Unknown signature Geschwaderkommodore

Hello together!
I‘ve got a Verleihungsurkunde for Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Gold.
I want to know in which Kampfgeschwader the man who got the Frontflugspange was.
Could anyone indentify the Oberst who signed the document?

Kind regards

Schalabeer

How did the Feldpostnummer get so badly smudged on the ink stamp? Can you make out the 5 numbers on the original?

Hi,

Is the recipient an officer? When the answer is yes you can use the list of deZeng and Stankey and see if it containce information on him and his unit(s)

Link to the list: http://www.ww2.dk/lwoffz.html

Best, Thomas

The numbers of the Feldpoststempel were removed.
The recipient had the rank of Unteroffizier.
His name was Emil Schäfer.

That's too bad, Shalabeer, because I just went through every Kampfgeschwader, Erg.Kampfgeschwader and Kampffliegerschule and your name does not match anything for the first half of 1944 much less 10 March 1944.

See:
Mehner, Kurt and Reinhard Teuber, Die deutsche Luftwaffe 1939-1945: Führung und Truppe (Norderstedt: 1993).
