Exclamation FTR B-17 's 92BG on december 23 1944

Hello ,

On december 23 1944 three B-17's from the 92BG failed to return probably landed in Belgium.
44-6017 327BS UX-P
44-8022 325BS NV-H
44-8172 327BS UX-F
Any info on these would be very usefull.

44-6017 - 92BG/327BS,"UX-P", Crew all bailed out successfully, 9 returned.

4-8022 - 92BG/407BS, "PY-U",MACR 16041. Date 24/12/1944.
A/c abandoned due to battle damage. 3kia, 6 returned.

Ref: losses 8th& 9th Air Forces vol 5.
Could not see "172".

44-8172 -
327BS - "UX-F".
Transferred to 381BG, 7th May 1945. Transferred again to 306BG 23rd May 1945.
Eventually Salvaged by 9AF in Germany, 24th July 1946.
Ref: "Fort Log".

Project Bits & Pieces "Heavy Bombers of the Mighty Eighth " has -
48172 - 92 - 327 "UX-F".
28/06/44 AI.
22/8/44 AOS.
15/9/44 G.
24/12/44 FTRLOC RG 24/3/45.
07/05/45 381BG.


However, 92BG/327BS 42-97870 "UX-Y", crash landed in the UK on return, 8KOM,1 RTD.
And
42-38101 92BG/327BS, "UX-D" also crashlanded on return. 6KOM,3RTD.

Also
42-31571 became MACR 11112.5POW,4KIA.

8172 seems to have made it back as there is subsequent movement history?
