Dietrich Hrabak
Dear All,
I have a copy of the German version of Hans-Ekkehard Bob's book 'Die Grünherzjäger. Bildchronik des Jagdgeschwaders 54' and I'm wondering about one photo of Dietrich Hrabak. I wonder whether the mark (which I have circled) is only a scratch on the photo, a printing error or whether he had a scar there. If you have another copy of the book or maybe access to the original photo, is the mark also visible there? By the way, were scars mentioned in the Soldbuch, or only if a soldier was wounded? Thank you in advance.

Maybe. Thank you for the answer. Do you have the book too? As I said, it might also be a scratch on the photo or even a printing error.
Would it be mentioned in his Soldbuch? Maybe somebody has a copy...

In fact, I've read that such things as scars were mentioned in the Soldbuch http://www.dererstezug.com/SoldbuchAnatomy1.htm
So, it might be possible to find out whether it's just a scratch on the photo or whether he had a scar there. Does any of you happen to have access to Hrabak's Soldbuch? ;-)
