Award recommendations RAF 1940.

Hi,

Where would I find at the NA copies of award recommendations for aircrew between April - June 1940. And, would these included recommendations were not agreed?

TIA

Steve

My guess is that any correspondence regards recommendations would either have been destroyed long ago or on personal files which are not accessible. Successful citations are another matter

Air 2 series contains recommendations, some were awarded some were not, some received alternative awards or MID's

Pete-All recommendations or some? Knowing if the RAF's penchant for shredding excess paperwork, I would be surprised if it is all as the paperwork mountain would be considerable
