Nachtjagd claims versus Soviet Air Force losses 2nd half 1943
Dear all,
For the Nachtjagd War Diaries 2nd edition research, I have recently fully documented a series of German night fighter claims on the Eastern Front during the second half of 1943, and am seeking contact with any Russian language researchers who could help me filling in the matching Red Air Force losses to these claims. Anyone who would be willing and able to help, please contact me per PM and I will forward a listing of claims. Cheers and thanks for any help, Theo |

It is probably a bit late but I found today these webpages listing Soviet transport aircraft, some of which fell to German nightfighters:

Hello Theo, I have no idea how much is done your work for the east front. I found today a site on 101 AP, a Li-2 unit flying bombing missions at night. Some detailled losses: http://101aviapolk.ru/index/na_brats..._rydajut/0-150
including one that could be the "PS-84" claimed by NJG 100 on 21-22 April 1944 |

Re: Nachtjagd claims versus Soviet Air Force losses 2nd half 1943
Hello Laurent,
Thanks for the info -I was already aware of this site, I have the following entry for 21-22 April 1944 in the NCA manuscript: 21-22 April 1944 Two waves of bombers, totalling 71 sorties, attacked German troop concentrations and oil installations in the NE parts of Estonia. One Li-2 of the 101 AP fell foul of a Nachtjäger, the Russian crew being killed and buried at Novo-Piatnitskoe near Kingisepp. Uffz. Hans Hase: 4 4./NJG100 PS-84 nr. Kolga: 4.100 m. 21.38 101 AP DD Li-2 serial nr. 7051 BTW; work on the Eastern Front Nachtjagd volume on the NCA series is about 90% completed, I hope to finish work on this volume by the end of this year. Cheers, Theo |
