Hanriot H-431 losses (French Air Force)

Good night to all!

I acquired a French Picture believing it was from a Bréguet XIV airplane, in WW1, but found looking at the serial numbers that it looks like the sole fatal accident of an Hanriot H.431 (French Air Force).

On the back side of the Picture we do have the information of "Accident Capitaine Levert or Leuert + Sergeant Charpentier). I do not have the date, neither serial number or Escadrille information.

I have tried but got NO JOY in finding out more about that aircraft's serial number and the cause of the accident + date, etc?

ANY recommended site or book will be, therefore, most welcomed.

Adriano B.

CJE (Chris)

MERCI bien! J'y ai ajouté un méssage....il me semble que ça soit l'unique accident fatal sur Hanriot H-431.

Thanks! I added a message there...I believe that this was the sole fatal accident with the Hanriot H-431...but do not have date, place, serial number, cause of crash, etc...

MERCI/THANKS

Adriano

Adriano

Did you ever find out which one this was?
You say you can read the serial on the aircraft, and if that is correct, can you enlighten us which one it was? If it is a H-431 the serial should be between No 1 and No 50, a H-433 between No 51 and No 75 and a H-436 probably between No 76 and No 125 (I have never seen a H-436 with any identifiable No)

Cheers
Stig
