Hptm Rudolf Jung NJG 2
The above first appears as St Kap on 5./NJG 1 and then 2./NJG 2 in the Summer of 1940 but does anyone know what he did before then?

Could he be this:
1943-10-09, Stab I/NJG 2, Bf 110 G-4, 5677, Fl.Pl. Kiel-Holtenau Flugzeugführer Major Jung, Rolf Notlandung infolge Bordwaffenbeschuß über Insel Samsö/Dänemark. Bruch 20 %. Matti

It is him but does his EKM give an indication of his unit before I./NJG 2? Regards Chris

Sorry, his EKM was issued by Stab I/NJG 2 in late 1942 or early 1943. No info on his earlier EKM.
