FW200 losses from KG40

Hello,

I'm a diver doing a reasearch about ship wrecks near the portuguese coast that were made by the FW200 bombing of allied convoys. These FW200 that I know, were all from the KG.

I have severall reports of attacks (19.june.1941, 29.May.1943,23.June.1943) were the FW200 were also hit and at least in one these attacks, the FW200 were severelly hit.

We now have found the wreck of a 4 motor airplane and would like to know if it could be one of this?

Can anybody help me and tell me where I can find more information about the airplane losses (at list the dates and were they supposed to be) of the KG40?

Thank you

I, like others, have a listing of all Condor losses but locations tend to be imprecise. However, I would guess that what you have found is close to the coast which might make identification easier. You can send me a PM if you wish but I am working away from home until tomorrow night so do not have access to my files until then

On 8-Feb-1941 Condor F8+DK was reported as ditching off the coast of Portugal, crew of Oblt. Erich Adam initially missing. There is a hand written addition to the report which I cannot make out, this may indicate the crew were returned. I would think Chris has more info,
