It makes me wonder. I have a number of original FB, one of which is a fighter BofF, BofB and Russia so how much is that worth!!??

Well Chris, that is difficult....I think a regular FB might end up around 200-250 Euro. But all depends on what the content is. I recently acquired 4x FB and 1x LB of the same pilot. First missions....BofF....last missions April 1945 in Ta 152.....anyway, whatever somebody is willing to pay is the value....

That is pretty crazy money for a copy IMHO. I've always felt that copies should be made available for their research value free of charge, but I guess I'm pretty naive. I have a couple of my uncle's Flugbuecher, and they make for some harrowing reading.

Anything of value has a price. Even research. I understand that to get reproductions of certain things from certain archives involves a fee. Comic books that sold for pennies are now being sold for thousands of dollars. I don't like it, but those are the facts.
