Losses of 78°IAP (16/11/1941)

Hello

On a Russian site,I found these losses of 78°IAP after an air fight:

Lt Ivan Fedorovich Bulychev (K)
Sgt Piotr Makarovitch Semenenko (K)
Sgt Alexander Mikailovich Kabatsky (K)

Nones of these losses correspond to claims of the JG77 (JG5).

Question:
Hurricanes,I-16 or Others?

Thanks in advance

Michel

Hurricanes. Soviet 78 IAP VVS SF was formed in October, 1941 with 27 Hurricanes, received in September, 1941 from 81 and 134 (RAF) squadrons.
Armament has been modified (to ShVAK machine guns), later another 65 Hurricanes arrived. Cheers,

Gabor

Hi Michel

All three were killed when they crashed into a mountainside in fog.

Cheers

Re: Losses of 78°IAP (16/11/1941)

Thanks to you two

So the losses would not be the result of an air fight with the JG77(JG5)....which may explain why there are no claims (known?).
