Fw. Schlepköhler/Schlephöler/Schleptrüber, pilot with I./NJG6 in May-June-1944?

Dear all,

Who can confirm if a Fw. Schlepköhler/Schlephöler, or Schleptrüber served as a pilot with I./NJG6 in May-June 1944? What was his first name, and his fate in WWII?

Cheers and thanks for any info,

Theo

No mention in the KTB of NJG 6 of any of the names you listed. I found no night fighter name beginning with "Schlep" in my loss lists. Maybe he was ground crew?

Regards,
Norbert

None of those three alternatives shows up in the www.verwandt.de maps of the distribution of family names in Germany.

Thanks chaps for you replies. I came across this name on the backside of a photo that was taken in the spring of 1944 and showing three pilots of I./NJG6. I checked the KTB Stab NJG6 but no match found ..

Cheers, Theo
