German aiman KIA 14.4.1945

Hi

Who can help me? There are kills of English fighters on 14.4.1945 east of the river Elbe, between Ludwigslust and Perleberg?

Thank you, Rene

Time to repay you! Yes-Tempests of 486 Sqn claimed two Fw 190s destroyed and a Bf 109 damaged in the Ludwigslust/Perleberg area. Fg Off C J Sheddan at 1650 hrs and WO W J Shaw and Fg Off S J Short at 1930 hrs. Not English but New Zealand!

Re: German aiman KIA 14.4.1945

Many thanks Chris!

It's about Kurt Georg Skupina. He was shot down and killed near Garlin, between Ludwigslust and Perleberg, and buried in the village cemetery. His unit is unknown. The WASt has no data, only rank "Gefreiter" and his last named unit "3. / Fluganwärter Btl. Flg.Ausb.Rgt.32".

Greetings, Rene

Hello

In May I was in Garlin and I saw a part from Skupinas plane. It´s from a Fw190.
