RAF in RUSSIA 1941 - DUXFORD 18 October
A must do/see.
RAF in RUSSIA - Duxford 18 October Note from Air Cdre Philip Wilkinson - " The ‘Friends of Duxford’ have invited Atoll Productions (Roy and Viv, the film team) and me to give them a presentation on the Wing’s efforts in 1941, and show the film, on 18 October. It will be at the Imperial War Museum site at Duxford airfield, but as yet I don’t have the time they want us to be there. Naturally, the ‘Friends’ – who are all enthusiasts and followers of aviation history – will be delighted if members of the Wing/the RAF Russia Association can be there as well to add their own versions of events" http://www.atollproductions.co.uk/ = Tim PS That's me twice on the right! It's a pity I am on the wrong side of the pond! that is something I would like to see, having an interest in western aircraft seeing service in the USSR during the GPW (WWII) |

Hello, KK - do tell me the source of that name?
If you don't buy the DVD, at least you can see this bit that we put into it - done by a chap in New Orleans. WE did NOT have a US carrier to fly from. WE had 350'!! http://www.2gvsap.org/video/151_0805.wmv = Tim |

No, Mark. Too old , too far!! But Phil, & Roy & Viv of Atoll, are good value.
And yes - get a copy. It's a good effort, done with limited backing, by Atoll. They included a clip from the Sim video that my chum in New Orleans produced which adds a bit of action. You have seen that, haven't you? http://www.2gvsap.org/video/151_0805.wmv I don't think you have seen the Central TV shortie of the re-union we had here in 1994? Great spiels by my great friend Vladimir Krivoschekov & Peter Knapton. = Tim |
