FW 190F ACE
I remember somewhere that there was a late-war German ace whose victories were solely in a 190 bomber (F-8 or 9) who was finally shot down in April '45 by an American P51. Who was he and what front did he
serve on? Thanks |

Hi Wuergerfan!
I think you meen Oberleutnant August Lambert. Born 18.2.1916 Kleestadt/Hessen. Died 17.4.1945 350 raids 116 victories (all in the east) Leading Schlachtflieger with air victories 28.4.1943 southern Eastfront II./Sch.G. 1 autumn 1943 II. Gruppe SG 2 "Immelmann" pilot instructor SG 151 March 1945 St.Kpt 8./SG 77 17.4.1945 During take off his Staffel has been attacked by 60-80 american fighters.
