Russian PS-84 shot down 6 August 1941

Hi guys

On 6 August 1941, a PS-84 (licence-built DC-3) on a mercy evacuation flight from Murmansk, was shot down by a Bf109 from 14./JG77.

The pilot was Comrade Muromets and the aircraft was carrying 16 wounded soldiers. In the crash two were killed and two wounded.

Can anyone please elaborate? May have been CCCP-L3411

Cheers
Brian
