ID - part of drop tank ?
Dears,
This part of grey painted aluminium was found near to crash place of Il-2 (Sturmovnik) . Is it part of drop tank ? (Russian or German) ? But why are holders for the pipe welded to a piece of sheet metal ? (the passage through the plating looks similar to the luftwaffe tank) https://trizna.ru/forum/uploads/mont...4d72656608.JPG https://trizna.ru/forum/uploads/mont...bbda441672.JPG https://trizna.ru/forum/uploads/mont...42055b909e.JPG https://www.recoverycurios.com/site/...ROP-TANK-4.jpg BR Kris
