Macr's 9150,9151 and 15574.
Hello,
Am seeking details of crews of the three B-24's that are listed here. Am not able to find the MACR's. Thanks, Alex. |

Re: Macr's 9150,9151 and 15574.
Have you tried the National Archives website? The last I knew they had MACR's on there for free. This is the archives at College Park, Maryland known as NARA II.

Re: Macr's 9150,9151 and 15574.
fold3 has 9150 but not the other two. Crew in 9150 was Lt. Eugene E. Porter (pilot), Lt. Clifford M. Sparby (co-pilot), Lt. Harold R. Gain (navigator), Lt. William G. Barros (bomb), T/Sgt. Harvey B. Miller Jr. (photo), Sgt. Estel L. Clinton (nose gunner), Sgt. Paul R. Dougherty (tail gunner), Sgt. Clyde M. Fuqua Jr. (waist gunner), Sgt. Henry Gates (waist gunner), Sgt. Peter H. Groetsch (upper turret), Sgt. Karl C. Smith (ball turret). All 726 Bomb Sqn, 451 Bomb Group. Appears all returned and last seen over Yugolslavia after reporting being out of gas.

Re: Macr's 9150,9151 and 15574.
Thank you Kent,
One less to cross off my list. Am looking for two airmen said to have flown with an American B24 crew. Have looked through all the B24 losses for the date as per MACR9150 but have not yet found them. Only now have to find 9065,9151 and 15574. Thanks again Alex |

Re: Macr's 9150,9151 and 15574.
Aviationarchaeology says AC Not Lost for MACR 9065. Indeed not on NARA. B-24 Serial unknown.
