And some naval air units:
Genzan Kokutai: A5M (before the Pacific war), A6M, G3M, G4M, G6M. Together with the Mihoro Kokutai under 22 Koku Sentai (HQ 22 Ku was at Saigon in 1941). Participated in sinking of Repulse & Prince of Wales. Disbanded and reformed as 755 Kokutai 1942.
Kanoya Kokutai: A5M (1939), G3M, G4M, G6M. Participated in sinking of Repulse & Prince of Wales (1, 2 & 3 Chutais from Thu Dau Moi, 20 miles from Saigon; with 4, 5 & 6 Chutais still at Taiwan). Reformed as 751 Kokutai, Nov.42.
Matsushima Kokutai: G3M. Training unit.
Mihoro Kokutai: G3M, G4M. Participated in sinking of Repulse & Prince of Wales.
3 Kokutai: A6M, G3M, G4M.
901 Kokutai: A6M, B5N, E13A, G3M, G4M. Escort force.

50th
Sentai also flew Ki-84s.
