Photo Salmson D.6 Cricri F-APSS & F-AQSU?

Hello,

Currently for sale on ebay at :

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Normand...kAAOSwRSBdxF9l

and:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Normand...QAAOSw1MNdxGDH

is a photo of two Salmson D.6 Cricri F-APSS and I believe F-AQSU.

The seller states the photo is taken at Lessay in Normandy. There was a prewar club at Lessay which possessed Cricris among other types. So I'm wondering if anyone can say which unit (E.E.P.?) operated these two machines in 1939/40?

Regards,

Clint

Re: Photo Salmson D.6 Cricri F-APSS & F-AQSU?

Hello,

Responding to my own question the site at :

http://www.traditions-air.fr/unit/ec...s_pilotage.htm

has l'Aéro-Club de Coutances based at Lessay which became a component of E.E.P.39. So unless anyone has any information to the contrary, I'm assuming that
E.E.P.39 is a strong candidate for the parent unit of the two Cricri shown.

But I would be interested if anyone has any other civil serials for aircraft that served with E.E.P.39

Regards,

Clint
