C.O. No.157 Squadron

Good evening,

The following W/Cdr. were CO of this Squadron. But I can’t find their first names on the net. Does someone have their full names or can redirect me to a website who has?

The London Gazette (Issue 35187 dated 10/06/1941, page 3322) mentions a Wing Commander with the name of Henry Duncan Urban Denison (32169).

Thx a lot, much appriciated.
Luc, the London Gazette is something that turns up often on the Forum and in books like for example the RAF Bomber Command Losses.
Are these Gazettes on line available ?

Hi Dirk,


The orb of 157 Squadron (AIR 27/1046) mentions on 9/06/1944 Wing Commander William Ken Davison arrived to command the Squadron.
