Hptm. Rolf Hermichen
Hello
Claes Sundin has included a profile of this fighter in More Luftwaffe Fighter Aircraft in Profile in which indeed the machine is in RLM 76/1944 overall. The national insignia and swastika are greyed out and the JG 11 yellow RV band is present. There is a partial photograph of this fighter at www.luftwaffe.cz/hermichen.html which is the same as included in the book. I hope that this helps you some what. Horrido! Leo
