FOLD3 COPYRIGHT
Good morning
I would like to use a picture of fold 3 for a facebook page (it is an aerial picture of a factory after a bombing in France by US planes). Do you know if there is any copyright on such picture ? Am I free to publish it ? thanks for your advice Gilles

Not a legal opinion, but all of Fold3 images are NARA based US Gov't documents.
Worst case is that you should post your image and reference source as National Archves.

Gilles, What is the identifying number on the photo?
As an example, here is a photo on fold3 (identified as 3A19291): https://www.fold3.com/image/39011411...terms=toulouse Here is the same photo in the National Archives: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/204898068 Note in the description of the Archives version it says: Access is Unrestricted and Use is Unrestricted.
