Seeking info on FB of Oblt Julius Neumann 6/JG27 POW 18.8.40

Hello,

I'm trying to determine if the FB of Oblt Julius Neumann 6/JG27 (POW 18.8.40) exists. Can anyone help me with that?

Regards,

Aloha

You might want to take a look here:
http://www.warbirdart.demon.co.uk/jonzon27.html

or here:

http://www.warbirdart.demon.co.uk/julius.html

or here:

http://www.warbirdart.demon.co.uk/bechoes.html

Pictures of the pilot in 1979 and 2002 signing a canvas painting about his crash on 18-08-1940. The site mentions yellow 6 was a borrowed plane. A picture of his normal plane, yellow 3 is also on that site. It should be yellow 3 in wich he shot down a Fokker (G1 or T5) above Rotterdam Waalhaven in may 1940.

Don't know the pilot is still alive, he was in 2002, think the owner/builder of the site can tell you more

Aircraft shot down by Neumann should be a Fokker D21

may 10th 1940: 14:25 south of Rotterdam

Larry

I am fairly certain that Julius had his Flugbuch(s) but cannot be certain. I did not have copies if he did although it may be worth your while asking Alfred Price. I have no idea whether Julius is still with us, although I stopped getting Christmas cards from him at least six or seven years ago.
