Thank you very much for your answer. You may well laugh, but on the basis of the photo available (unfortunately, it's so small...) I just find him handsome.

Thank you very much for your answer and for the photo. In a way, you are right, especially because a lot of pilots were actually handsome. As a woman, I look at them differently: I'm not interested so much in their aerial victories, their planes, etc. as in their biographies from a more, so to say, human point of view. And, of course, I do pay attention to their appearance. Clearly, as a man you don't pay attention to whether they were handsome or not. :-)
