First Fighter Command claims of Bf109F

Am I correct in assuming the first mention of the "Bf109F" was in a claim by Sgt McDougall of 54 Squadron on 10 July 1941? Note not the first time pilots encountered the Bf109F but the first time they specificcally mentioned this latest model.

And the second not until 3 August 1941 when 452 and 602 Squadrons identified the Bf109F in an air battle?

My source is John Foreman's RAF Fighter Command Victory Claims. Vol.2.
