Shoot down of a 48 Sqn Hudson - Trost 15 July 42

On 15 July 42, Unteroffizier Paul Schalk and one other claimed the shoot down of Sqn Ldr Pedersen’s Hudson off the coast of Norway.

The Hudson managed to shoot down Schalk’s No.2 before being hit, he was rescued by ASR. Does anyone know who this pilot was? I believe both Me109Fs were from JG5?

Correct

As per Eric Mombeek he was Uffz Ernst Koch and both were from 12./JG 5
