Heeresfl. Stammabt. Reichenberg
Friends,
please, have you ever met the unit "Heeresfl. Stammabt. Reichenberg"?? This unit is listed on the death card of Lt. d. Res. Werner-Gerhard Illgen, in November 1942 he was a member of Fernaufklärungsschule 1 in Grossenhain and in Reichenberg was Beobachtervorschule Reichenberg. Could it be related? Thanks, Jan

Heeresflieger-Stammabteilung Reichenberg =
Tactical Reconnaissance Cadre Detachment (located at) Reichenberg. Not previously encountered, but appears to be the administrative detachment that the instructor personnel at the Nahaufklärungsschulen were assigned to. L. deZ.
