Information required on Catalina FP287 of 210 Squadron Lost on 24th August 1943 in Poole Harbour. Any informatin greatly appreciated.

Trevor - FP 287 crashed April 28 , 43 at Hamworthy.

24/08/43 210 Sqn Catalina Ib FP287 Coded E Training, RAF Hamworthy Junction F/O P R Duff + F/O W A Hobson RCAF + P/O D O Ahmed (Injured) Sgt J S Garnett (Injured) F/Sgt R E Rasmussen RAAF + F/O M D Cohen + Sgt R J Kington (Injured) Sgt W Eley (Injured) Sgt A B Allen + Sgt M M Doyle + Sgt F Frogson + Sgt G Harper + Made a normal approach after waiting 25 minutes for the flare path to be set and touched down at second flare. Opened up, took off and flew into mist before hitting the water, Hamworthy, Dorset, 04:35 hrs. The crewmen killed rest in various cemeteries in England. Regards Ross
