It is interesting that your list of lost NJG crews shows them flying ME110, yet very few of the combat reports say ME110s. They say JU88s. So perhaps IDing the correct nightfighter by the gunners was an issue!

Hello Greg,

Thank you for clearing this up: somehow the entries in your Excel-file looked familiar so I checked the paper copy of the relevant Interception and Tactic Report (AIR 14/3375). I will make photos for you if you like.

I was glad to discover these two new 'encounters' because one of these must have caused the loss of Holler (assuming that Gotha's account was right about the time 01.41)
