Uffz. Herbert Beyer 8./NJG 1 1944

Dear TOCH members,

Does someone have a picture of said person? In the Facebook group 'Luftwaffe Fliegerhorste 1933-1945' someone posted these pictures (attached), could they be Uffz. Beyer with his crew?

On the night of 22-23 May 1944 the 20-year-old pilot scored his first 'Abschuss'. A Lancaster which came down at Dorkwerd, Groningen city.
Quoting the Nachtjagd Combat Archive by T. Boiten:
Uffz. Herbert Beyer: 1 8./NJG1 Lancaster 5-10 km NW Groningen: 5.000 m. 00.16 57 Sqn Lancaster NE127

Kind regards,

Timon
